EGI has been manufacturing and installing signage around the country for the past two decades. During this time, EGI has grown from a small, 3-person company to one of the leading signage suppliers in the country. Here are some of EGI’s most unique and most complex projects.

Marshall Student Center, University of South Florida

EGI manufactured and installed all interior and exterior signage in the Marshall Student Center, the new, state-of-the-art student union at the University of South Florida. University of South Florida’s main campus in Tampa, Fla., is now home to one of the top-rated collegiate student centers in the country, a center with a comprehensive sign system featuring very unique signage.

Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute

This new, state-of-the-art facility is also home to new, state-of-the-art signage. EGI designed a unique signage system for the Lynn Cancer Institute, featuring interior signs that were custom fabricated of acrylic and architectural resins infused with hundreds of pieces of bamboo. EGI designed and manufactured the entire sign system, everything from aluminum interior and exterior dimensional letters to chemically welded interior ADA signage and interchangeable directories.

The 101-classroom, state-of-the-art high school opened in August 2009 and is designed to be energy efficient, incorporating green design strategies throughout.

David E. Bailey, Jr. Elementary School

Occupying the land of former strawberry farms in Dover, Florida, David E. Bailey Elementary opened its doors in August 2009 with a premier sign system. The $16.6 million, 86,000 square-foot school is home to 950 students.
